We have a large range of books and specialise in anything related to Liverpool, Merseyside, Wirral and the surrounding area. Our Irish cultural and literature sections are particularly strong along with the history room. You will find our internet stock on the Advanced Book Exchange. We have several catalogues available in selected areas.
The Amorous Cat Bookshop in Lark Lane, Liverpool is expanding!
We have now re-opened as a fully stocked bookshop. It has been wonderful to see many old customers returning to the shop and we offer a warm welcome to the faces we have not seen before. So far the response to the new shop has embarrassingly favourable and most people have found our windy staircase rather exciting. The stock is now growing and we intend to provide a wider selection of the more interesting books along with some of the more curious oddities.
1st March 2008 - Good News for book lovers in Liverpool (not so good for Lancaster) - We have just bought up the stock of the old Atticus bookshop which moved from Liverpool to Lancaster in the past. Sadly, they now closed, but we will be soon offering some extremely interesting books, many titles being very old and now hard to get. 3000 more books will soon be on our shelves.
